Mushroom Toast & Beaujolais

What you need:

  • Sliced Mushrooms (2-3 cups)

  • Baguette

  • Olive Oil

  • Creamy Sauce: Sour Cream, Parmesan Cheese & a Tablespoon of red wine.

  • Seasonings: Salt & Pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a hot frying pan, add olive oil and then a small amount of mushrooms. Add little by little so the mushrooms are seared and not steamed.

  2. Season them with salt and pepper.

  3. Cut the baguette to the desired size and in half. Butter the slices and sear the baguette on both sides.

  4. Make the sauce by mixing sour cream, a splash of red wine, and parmesan cheese.

  5. Spread the sauce on the sauce on the baguette and top with mushrooms.

  6. Garnish with fresh parmesan and cilantro.
