Turkey Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of Ground Turkey

  • Bell Pepper - Chopped

  • 1/2 Onion - Chopped

  • 2 Tbsp of Olive Oil

  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

  • 1 egg

  • Seasonings: A tsp of each. Smoked Paprika, Cayenne, Garlic Powder, and Onion Powder.

  • Carrots - Optional

  • Potatoes - Optional

  • Ketchup Sauce - 1 cup of ketchup & 1/4th cup of hot sauce

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350.

  2. Add olive oil, chopped onion, and bell pepper to a pan. Season and sauté until translucent.

  3. Let the veggies cool and add to the ground turkey.

  4. Beat 1 egg and add to the ground turkey, along with Worcestershire sauce and seasonings.

  5. Use your hands to mix thoroughly.

  6. In an oiled baking dish, mold the meat into a loaf shape.

  7. Chop carrots and potatoes into chunks and add them around the meatloaf.

  8. Cook for 45 minutes - 1 hour.

  9. For the ketchup sauce, whisk together ketchup and hot sauce. When the meatloaf has cooked for 40 minutes, spread the sauce on top of the meatloaf. Cook for 15 minutes.

  10. Slice and serve.
